Loupe means magnifying glass in French. If you prefer, magnifying glasses in English, it doesn't matter.

Our goal is for you to enjoy reading in style!

Created in 2023, Loupe & Loupe makes foldable magnifying glasses, without temples, to always be with you in the form of a necklace, bracelet, brooch... whatever you prefer.

These are the famous Lorgnettes (a pair of Spectacles with a handle) and the Pince-Nez (Pince = Tweezers and Nez = Nose). The classic glasses without temples that are attached to the nose. The first model of glasses in history! CIRCA 1,200 AD


EYE COUTURE

Handcrafted with Italian cellulose acetate, 25 manual steps are required, 25 artisans and 50 extremely skilled hands to manufacture each piece in the brand's atelier.

The collection called “Vive la Fête”, brings 4 exclusive and numbered models, handmade.

A batch of 20 only!

Maquerade Mask , inspired by the 1920s, full of glamour and Art Deco-inspired elements.

Discothèque , (70s), which has the “Dancefloor” as its biggest inspiration.

The classic round “alla“John Lennon, is called “ Lennon Mask ” (60s).

Finally, the Club (90s) , representing the “nightclubs” and their glamorous nights!

The earliest spectacles from the 13th century were also not a Lorgnette. The Lorgnette is a type of spectacle that emerged in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, characterized by a long side arm used to hold the lenses in front of the eyes.
Unlike the Pince-Nez, which is attached to the nose, the Lorgnette is held by hand, allowing it to be raised and lowered as needed.
